Having worked with many shipping clients, including one of the biggest shipping companies in the Middle East with over 100 vessels, he understands the financial and operational drivers behind the shipping sector.

Andreas Philippou also has a bachelor degree with honors in hotel and institutional management from the U.K.

In the Middle East, Andreas Philippou has been substantially involved over the previous 7 years in numerous construction audits, including infrastructure projects, stadiums and buildings. The “Philippou” name is synonymous in Cyprus to quality in audit and tax. Our Chairman is commonly referred in professional circles on the island as the “Father of Audit”.

“In my life, I have been honoured numerous times for various achievements. Most notably, in 1995 as the Managing Partner of a Big 4 audit firm in Cyprus I received an award for outstanding services from the HE President of the Republic of Cyprus at the time, Mr. Glafkos Clerides, and in 2013 as the General Manager of the ICPAC I received an award for my contributions to the audit profession from the Minister of Commerce, Mr. George Lakkotrypis. My objective in life was always to “target the stars”. It was my dream to hand-over the legacy of my long service to the Cyprus audit profession and businesses to the next generation”
